Synopsis

The Devolutions Server instance installed on the remote host is affected by an improper authorization vulnerability.

Description

The version of Devolutions Server installed on the remote host is prior or equal to 2025.2.12.0 and is, therefore, affected by an improper authorization vulnerability:

 - Improper authorization in the temporary access workflow of Devolutions Server 2025.2.12.0 and earlier allows an authenticated basic user to self-approve or approve the temporary access requests of other users and gain unauthorized access to vaults and entries via crafted API requests. (CVE-2025-11957)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Devolutions Server version 2025.2.14.0 or later.
