The remote device is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

The remote NetScaler ADC (formerly Citrix ADC) or NetScaler Gateway (formerly Citrix Gateway) device is version 14.1 prior to 14.1-56.73, 13.1 prior to 13.1-60.32, 13.1-FIPS prior to 13.1-37.250-FIPS, or 12.1-FIPS prior to 12.1-55.333-FIPS. It is, therefore, affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

- Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway when the appliance is configured as a Gateway (VPN virtual server, ICA Proxy, CVPN, RDP Proxy) OR AAA virtual server. (CVE-2025-12101)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to NetScaler ADC or NetScaler Gateway version 13.1-60.32, 14.1-56.73 12.1-55.333-FIPS, 13.1-37.250-FIPS or later.
