Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2023 host is missing a security update.

Description

It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2023-2025-1260 advisory.

 XMLUnit for Java before 2.10.0, in the default configuration, might allow code execution via an untrusted stylesheet (used for an XSLT transformation), because XSLT extension functions are enabled.

Solution

Run 'dnf update xmlunit --releasever 2023.9.20251110' or or 'dnf update --advisory ALAS2023-2025-1260 --releasever 2023.9.20251110' to update your system.
