Synopsis

An application running on the remote web server is affected by a files or directories accessible to external parties vulnerability.

Description

Gladinet CentreStack through 16.7.10368.56560 (fixed in 16.10.10408.56683) contain an unauthenticated Local File I nclusion (LFI) vulnerability (CVE-2025-11371) that allows an attacker to read sensitive files (notably Web.config) without authentication; attackers observed exploiting this in the wild have retrieved the ASP.NET machineKey, which can be used to forge ViewState payloads and chain to the previously disclosed deserialization flaw (CVE-2025-30406) to achieve remote code execution.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade Gladinet CentreStack to 16.10.10408.56683 or later.
