Unity Linux 20.1070a Security Update: kernel (UTSA-2025-988968)

medium Nessus Plugin ID 273368

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2025-988968 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

clk: qcom: clk-rcg2: Update logic to calculate D value for RCG

The display pixel clock has a requirement on certain newer platforms to support M/N as (2/3) and the final D value calculated results in underflow errors.
As the current implementation does not check for D value is within the accepted range for a given M & N value. Update the logic to calculate the final D value based on the range.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
