Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2025-989661 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ip: Fix data-races around sysctl_ip_prot_sock.

sysctl_ip_prot_sock is accessed concurrently, and there is always a chance of data-race. So, all readers and writers need some basic protection to avoid load/store-tearing.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
