Synopsis

The remote system has a web based control panel application installed that is affected by a RCE vulnerability.

Description

The version of Linanto Control Web Panel (CWP), a web based control panel application, installed on the remote host is prior to 0.9.8.1205. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution via shell metacharacters in the t_total parameter in a filemanager changePerm request.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Linanto Control Web Panel (CWP) version 0.9.8.1205 or later.
