Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

The version of F5 Networks F5OS-A or F5OS-C installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the K000149820 advisory.

 - When SNMP is configured on F5OS Appliance and Chassis systems, undisclosed requests can cause an increase in SNMP memory resource utilization. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. (CVE-2025-47150)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade F5OS-A/F5OS-C to one of the fixed versions listed in the associated F5 security advisories.
