The remote web server is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of IBM MQ Server running on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 7248739 advisory.

- IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 18.0.0.2 through 25.0.0.8 is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by sending a specially-crafted request. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the server to consume memory resources. (CVE-2025-36047)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to IBM MQ 9.1.0.32 LTS, 9.2.0.38 LTS, 9.3.0.35 LTS, 9.4.0.16 LTS, 9.4.4.0, 9.4.4.0 CD or later.
