Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 4 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 4 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TSSA-2025:0776 advisory.

Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 4 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

CVE-2025-41244:
VMware Aria Operations and VMware Tools contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability.A malicious local actor with non-administrative privileges having access to a VM with VMware Toolsinstalled and managed by Aria Operations with SDMP enabled may exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges to root on the same VM.
