An identity security and threat detection platform running on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The version of the Tenable Identity Exposure running on the remote host is prior to 3.93.4. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities according to advisory TNS-2025-07, including the following:- Inconsistent interpretation of http requests ('http request/response smuggling') in ASP.NET Core allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. (CVE-2025-55315)
- Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in .NET allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. (CVE-2025-55247)
- Inadequate encryption strength in .NET, .NET Framework, Visual Studio allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. (CVE-2025-55248)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Upgrade to Tenable Identity Exposure version 3.93.4 or later.See Also
