Adobe Connect <= 12.9 Multiple Vulnerabilities (APSB25-70)

critical Nessus Plugin ID 270349

Synopsis

The remote web server contains an application that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Adobe Connect installed on the remote host is prior to 12.10. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb25-70 advisory.

- Cross-site Scripting (DOM-based XSS) (CWE-79) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2025-49552, CVE-2025-49553)

- URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') (CWE-601) potentially leading to Security feature bypass (CVE-2025-54196)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Connect version 12.10 or later.
