Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 13.12 to 18.2.8, 18.3 to 18.3.4, and 18.4 to 18.4.2 that could make the GitLab instance unresponsive or severely degraded by sending crafted GraphQL queries requesting large repository blobs. (CVE-2025-10004)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 18.2.8, 18.3.4, 18.4.2 or later.
