Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2025-986661 advisory.

 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

 powerpc64/bpf: Limit 'ldbrx' to processors compliant with ISA v2.06

 Illegal instruction

 The illegal instruction turned out to be 'ldbrx' emitted for BPF_FROM_[L|B]E, which was only introduced in ISA v2.06. Guard use of the same and implement an alternative approach for older processors.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
