Description

The The HPC Pack installed on the remote host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by the following vulnerability:

 - Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft High Performance Compute Pack (HPC) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. (CVE-2025-55232)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Microsoft has released security updates to address this issue.
