Synopsis

Description

The version of Microsoft Edge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 140.0.3485.66. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the September 11, 2025 advisory.

- Inappropriate implementation in Mojo in Google Chrome on Android, Linux, ChromeOS prior to 140.0.7339.127 allowed a remote attacker to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity:
High) (CVE-2025-10201)

- Use after free in Serviceworker in Google Chrome on Desktop prior to 140.0.7339.127 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity:
Critical) (CVE-2025-10200)

Solution

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge version 140.0.3485.66 or later.
