Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the ghostscript packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 gs_lib_ctx_stash_sanitized_arg in base/gslibctx.c in Artifex Ghostscript before 10.05.1 lacks argument sanitization for the # case. A created PDF document includes its password in cleartext.(CVE-2025-48708)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS ghostscript security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected ghostscript packages.
