Synopsis

The remote webserver is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The version of TYPO3 installed on the remote host is 11.0.0 prior to 11.5.48 ELTS / 12.0.0 prior to 12.4.37 / 13.0.0 prior to 13.4.18. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TYPO3-CORE-SA-2025-018 advisory.

- An uncaught exception in the Bookmark Toolbar of TYPO3 CMS versions 11.0.011.5.47, 12.0.012.4.36, and 13.0.013.4.17 lets administratorlevel backend users trigger a denialofservice condition in the backend user interface by saving manipulated data in the bookmark toolbar. (CVE-2025-59014)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to TYPO3 11.5.48 ELTS, 12.4.37, 13.4.18 or later.
