Description

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

 - The log_event function in ssmtp 2.50.6 and earlier allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on the ssmtp.log temporary log file. (CVE-2004-0423)

Note that Nessus relies on the presence of the package as reported by the vendor.
