Description

The instance of Qualitia Active! Mail installed on the remote host is 6.60.05008561 or prior. It is, therefore, affected by a buffer overflow vulnerability. Receiving a specially crafted request created and sent by a remote unauthenticated attacker may lead to arbitrary code execution and/or a denial-of-service (DoS) condition.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Active! Mail version 6.60.06008562 or later.
