Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 4 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 4 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2025:0597 advisory.

Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 4 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

CVE-2024-25178:
LuaJIT through 2.1 has an out-of-bounds read in the stack-overflow handler in lj_state.c

CVE-2024-25177:
LuaJIT through 2.1 has an unsinking of IR_FSTORE for NULL metatable, which leads to Denial of Service (DoS).

CVE-2024-25176:
LuaJIT through 2.1 has a stack-buffer-overflow in lj_strfmt_wfnum in lj_strfmt_num.c.
