Description

The version of Adobe Substance 3D Stager installed on the remote host is prior to 3.1.4. It is, therefore, affected by an multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB25-81 advisory.

- Substance3D - Stager versions 3.1.3 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2025-54222)

- Substance3D - Stager versions 3.1.3 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2025-54237)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Upgrade to Adobe Substance 3D Stager version 3.1.4 or later.
