Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 13.2 before 18.0.6, 18.1 before 18.1.4, and 18.2 before 18.2.2 that could have allowed authenticated users to create a denial of service condition by sending specially crafted markdown payloads to the Wiki feature. (CVE-2025-2937)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 18.0.6, 18.1.4, 18.2.2 or later.
