Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the nss packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 After accepting an untrusted certificate, handling an empty pkcs7 sequence as part of the certificate data could have lead to a crash. This crash is believed to be unexploitable. (CVE-2022-22747)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS nss security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected nss packages.
