Fedora Core 5 : ekiga-2.0.1-4 (2007-262)

Critical Nessus Plugin ID 24693

The remote Fedora Core host is missing a security update.

A format string flaw was found in the way Ekiga processes certain messages form remote clients. This flaw could potentially allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code as the user running Ekiga.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Fedora security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Update the affected ekiga and / or ekiga-debuginfo packages.
