Synopsis

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed with a vulnerability that the vendor indicates will not be patched.

Description

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

 - A security vulnerability in Thunderbird allowed malicious sites to use redirects to send credentialed requests to arbitrary endpoints on any site that had invoked the Storage Access API. This enabled potential Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks across origins. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 138 and Thunderbird < 138. (CVE-2025-4088)

Note that Nessus relies on the presence of the package as reported by the vendor.
