Synopsis

Description

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

 - In all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a kernel driver has an off-by-one buffer over- read vulnerability. (CVE-2017-8240)

Note that Nessus relies on the presence of the package as reported by the vendor.
