Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of Zoom Workplace installed on the remote host is prior to 6.4.5. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ZSB-25025 advisory.

 - Cross-site scripting in certain Zoom Clients before version 6.4.5 may allow an authenticated user to conduct a disclosure of information via network access. (CVE-2025-49462)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Zoom Client for Meetings 6.4.5 or later.
