Synopsis

The remote web server contains an application that is affected by a arbitrary code execution vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe Connect installed on the remote host is prior to 25.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the apsb25-61 advisory.

- Adobe Connect versions 24.0 and earlier are affected by a Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution by an attacker. Exploitation of this issue does require user interaction and scope is changed. (CVE-2025-27203)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Connect version 25.1 or later.
