Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of libsoup installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-32910 advisory.

 - A flaw was found in libsoup, where soup_auth_digest_authenticate() is vulnerable to a NULL pointer dereference. This issue May cause the libsoup client to crash. (CVE-2025-32910)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
