Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of sudo installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-32462 advisory.

- Sudo before 1.9.17p1, when used with a sudoers file that specifies a host that is neither the current host nor ALL, allows listed users to execute commands on unintended machines. (CVE-2025-32462)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
