Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of redis installed on the remote host is prior to 6.2.14-2. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the ALAS2REDIS6-2025-013 advisory.

Redis and Valkey contain a defect such that a well constructed hyperloglog can corrupt arbitrary memory on the heap, which could lead to remote code execution. (CVE-2025-32023)
