Description

The version of Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows installed on the remote Windows host is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability:

- A vulnerability allowing local system users to modify directory contents, allowing for arbitrary code execution on the local system with elevated permissions. (CVE-2025-24287)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows version 6.3.2.1205 or later.
