Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 3 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 3 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TSSA-2024:0200 advisory.

Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 3 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

CVE-2023-37328:
A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the subparse subtitle parser of GStreamer when processing specific SRT subtitle files. This issue could allow a malicious third party to crash the application and execute code through manipulation of the heap.
