Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 3 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 3 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2023:0085 advisory.

Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 3 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

CVE-2023-30570:
A vulnerability was found in the libreswan library. This security issue occurs when an IKEv1 Aggressive Mode packet is received with only unacceptable crypto algorithms, and the response packet is not sent with a zero responder SPI. When a subsequent packet is received where the sender reuses the libreswan responder SPI as its own initiator SPI, the pluto daemon state machine crashes. No remote code execution is possible.
CVE-2023-23009:
A flaw was found in the Libreswan package. A crafted TS payload with an incorrect selector length may allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
