Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 3 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 3 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TSSA-2022:0202 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 3 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2019-18218:
 cdf_read_property_info in cdf.c in file through 5.37 does not restrict the number of CDF_VECTOR elements, which allows a heap-based buffer overflow (4-byte out-of-bounds write).

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the affected packages.
