Description

The version of Adobe Substance 3D Sampler installed on the remote host is prior to 5.0.0 It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB25-55 advisory.

- Substance3D - Sampler versions 5.0 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2025-43581, CVE-2025-43588)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Substance 3D Sampler version 5.0.3 or later.
