Synopsis
Fortinet FortiVoice is missing one or more security-related updates.Description
The version of FortiVoice installed on the remote host is 6.4.x prior to 6.4.11, 7.0.x prior to 7.0.7, or 7.2.x prior to 7.2.1. It is, therefore, affected by a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability as referenced in the FG-IR-24-472 advisory.- A stack-based overflow vulnerability [CWE-121] in FortiVoice, FortiMail, FortiNDR, FortiRecorder and FortiCamera may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code or commands via crafted HTTP requests. Fortinet has observed this to be exploited in the wild on FortiVoice. (CVE-2025-32756)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
For 6.4.x, upgrade to FortiVoice version 6.4.11 or later. For 7.0.x, upgrade to FortiVoice version 7.0.7 or later.For 7.2.x, upgrade to FortiVoice version 7.2.1 or later.
