The version of Microsoft Edge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 1.3.195.61. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the May 22, 2025 advisory.

- Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. (CVE-2025-47181)
