Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of libsoup installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-32051 advisory.

 - A flaw was found in libsoup. The libsoup soup_uri_decode_data_uri() function May crash when processing malformed data URI. This flaw allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS). (CVE-2025-32051)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
