Fedora Core 4 : fetchmail- (2005-1187)

Low Nessus Plugin ID 20351

The remote Fedora Core host is missing a security update.

Fetchmail contains a bug where when running in multidrop mode, a malicious mail server can crash the client by sending a message without headers.

This update fixes the issue.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Fedora security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Update the affected fetchmail and / or fetchmail-debuginfo packages.
