Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for freeglut.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2024:2366 advisory.- freeglut 3.4.0 was discovered to contain a memory leak via the menuEntry variable in the glutAddSubMenu function. (CVE-2024-24258)
- freeglut through 3.4.0 was discovered to contain a memory leak via the menuEntry variable in the glutAddMenuEntry function. (CVE-2024-24259)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the RHEL freeglut package based on the guidance in RHSA-2024:2366.See Also
