Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for samba.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2012:0478 advisory.- samba: Multiple heap-based buffer overflows in memory management based on NDR marshalling code output (CVE-2012-1182)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
