Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for qemu-kvm-rhev.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2016:1756 advisory.

- Qemu: block: iscsi: buffer overflow in iscsi_aio_ioctl (CVE-2016-5126)

- Qemu: virtio: unbounded memory allocation on host via guest leading to DoS (CVE-2016-5403)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the RHEL qemu-kvm-rhev package based on the guidance in RHSA-2016:1756.
