Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for nodejs:18.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2024:1880 advisory.- nodejs: vulnerable to timing variant of the Bleichenbacher attack against PKCS#1 v1.5 padding (Marvin) (CVE-2023-46809)
- nodejs: code injection and privilege escalation through Linux capabilities (CVE-2024-21892)
- nodejs: reading unprocessed HTTP request with unbounded chunk extension allows DoS attacks (CVE-2024-22019)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
