Oracle Primavera Unifier Open Redirect (April 2024 CPU)

high Nessus Plugin ID 193435

Synopsis

The remote host is affected by an open redirect vulnerability.

Description

The versions of Primavera Unifier installed on the remote host are affected by an open redirect vulnerability as referenced in the April 2024 CPU advisory. Applications that use UriComponentsBuilder to parse an externally provided URL (e.g. through a query parameter) and perform validation checks on the host of the parsed URL may be vulnerable to a open redirect attack or to a SSRF attack if the URL is used after passing validation checks.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the April 2024 Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory.
