Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for kernel-rt.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2024:1303 advisory.- kernel: memcg does not limit the number of POSIX file locks allowing memory exhaustion (CVE-2022-0480)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
