The remote host has a web application affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

According to the self-reported version of Nagios XI, the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities, including the following:

 - Nagios XI is vulnerable to a SQL Injection when utilizing the Favorites component. Details forthcoming. (CVE-2024-24401)

 - Nagios XI is vulnerable to a privilege escalation to root when the user has access to the nagios shell account.
 (CVE-2024-24402)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Nagios XI 2024R1.0.2 or later.
