The remote CentOS host is missing a security update for libfastjson.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the libfastjson-0.99.9-4.el9 build changelog.

- json-c through 0.14 has an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write via a large JSON file, as demonstrated by printbuf_memappend. (CVE-2020-12762)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the CentOS 9 Stream libfastjson package.
