Synopsis

The remote CentOS host is missing a security update for qt5-qtsvg.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the qt5-qtsvg-5.15.9-2.el9 build changelog.

 - In Qt before 5.15.14, 6.0.x through 6.2.x before 6.2.9, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.1, QtSvg QSvgFont m_unitsPerEm initialization is mishandled. (CVE-2023-32573)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the CentOS 9 Stream qt5-qtsvg package.
